Tenerife is the largest of Spain's seven Canary Islands.  This amazing government building also houses the Archaeological and Anthropological Museum that displays a variety of excellent exhibits. Among the splendid attractions on offer in the capital are the 17th century Carta Palace, the baroque church Iglesia de la Concepción, the superb Museum of Painting and Sculpture and on the outskirts of the city is the awesome, Castillo de Paso Alto. Santa Cruz the tenerife

Situated in the north of the Island is Puerto de la Cruz (Port of the Cross), one of the most visited towns in Tenerife. This popular tourist resort is the oldest in the archipelago and has been host to visitors from around the world since the 19th century. In Puerto de la Cruz quaint streets are filled with historic buildings including the Castillo De San Felipe and the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia. The most popular attraction in Puerto de la Cruz can be found in the central Martianez beach area. The Lido Martinez combines the most appealing attributes Tenerife has to offer within an exciting complex consisting of seven saltwater pools and a number of beautifully sculpted fountains and islands.
